Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has launched a compendium and documents on the achievements of his administration in investment and other sectors of the economy in the last eight years.

Ganduje launched the materials at the Government House, Kano on Wednesday, at a ceremony graced by members of the business community, traditional rulers and the academia, among others.

The achievements were recorded by the Ganduje administration through the Kano State Investment Promotion Agency KanInvest and the Diaspora.

Represented by his deputy, Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, the governor described the publication of the compendium and other documents by the agency as a significant milestone which would enable it to discharge its functions effectively.

He said the books would also serve as veritable tools for successive management to drive the goals of the agency to make Kano the prime investment destination.

Which he said was his administration’s goal and vision for establishing KanInvest in 2015.

In her remarks, the director-general of KanInvest, Hon Aware, thanked Governor Ganduje for giving her the opportunity “to serve my dear state and to be part of the legacy of this great administration.”
