A data analyst at MyJola, Ayodele Joy, has said the introduction of a popular global payment solution system popularly known as MyJola app has helped in making cross-border payments easier.
The data analyst who doubles as a product manager of the firm said the launch of the app has made global payments easier, more affordable, and more secure.
The firm in a statement in Abuja yesterday quoted a representative of the fintech company who said in the past, it was difficult to talk about cross-border payments without also mentioning “restrictions,” that have served to complicate cross-border payments and global e-commerce.
She said, “MyJola, among some other crop of tech solutions are being created to provide the glimmer of hope and promise of faster, more efficient cross-border payments spawned by digital currencies.
“Established in 2019, MyJola is dedicated to making global payments easier, more affordable, and more secure. With its cutting-edge app and powerful API, MyJola is revolutionising the way that individuals and businesses transfer money globally, and has quickly become a trusted solution for anyone looking to make cross-border payments.”
Speaking on her contributions to the fintech company, Joy said: “My role at MyJola as a data analyst/product manager involves leveraging data-driven insights and strategic decision-making to drive innovation, enhance user experience, and contribute to the company’s mission of making global payments easier, more affordable, and more secure.
“I help to monitor and stay informed about emerging technologies, industry regulations, and global payment trends, particularly related to digital currencies and cross-border payments.
“I also help to drive innovation by proposing new product features or services that address evolving customer needs and differentiate MyJola from competitors.
“I work closely with senior leadership to develop and refine the company’s long-term product roadmap, ensuring alignment with MyJola’s mission and values. “As regards to my Cross-Functional Collaboration with the company, I foster a culture of collaboration and communication across departments to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
“Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.”
