Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya has expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for appointing Hon. Hamman Ali Kumo as chairman of the Board of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF).
Governor Inuwa made this comment when the new ITF board chairman visited him at his residence in Abuja at the weekend.
Ali Kumo is the deputy national financial secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Governor Yahaya said the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hon Kumo’s commitment and service to the APC, the state and the nation, describing Kumo as an illustrious son of Gombe and a seasoned grassroots politician with vast experience and network.
The governor expressed confidence in Kumo’s ability to bring his wealth of experience and expertise to bear in advancing President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.
The governor encouraged the new ITF chairman to remain steadfast in his commitment to excellence, urging him to approach his new role with the same dedication and innovative mindset that have defined his political career.
In his speech, Kumo expressed his deep appreciation for the governor’s support and encouragement, both in his recent appointment and throughout his political journey.
He acknowledged the governor’s commitment to nurturing leaders and ensuring their progress on the national stage.
