Gov Bala Mohammed Appoints 168 Aides For Inclusive Governance

Governor of Bauchi State Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the appointments of 168 aides into the services of the government.

The new appointees, according to the Government House press statement, included  Principal Special Assistants (PSA), Senior Special Assistants (SSA), Special Assistants (SA) and Personal Assistants (PA).

The statement signed by the special adviser to the state governor on media and publicity, Mukhtar Gidado Mohammed, yesterday said that the government’s decision was also informed by the need to deepen participatory leadership in the state.

The appointments, the special adviser stated, are part of the governor’s ongoing efforts to ensure greater inclusion, enhance service delivery, and foster a government that reflects the diverse interests and aspirations of the people of Bauchi State.

He explained that the newly appointed aides, who are largely former political officeholders at the national, state, and local government levels, were selected based on merit, proven experience, political background, and leadership capabilities. They are to inject fresh energy into the administration and support its vision of a more responsive and effective government.

Governor Bala Mohammed congratulated the appointees and urged them to see their appointments as a call to greater service, while emphasising the need for dedication, loyalty, and a people-centred approach to governance as the administration intensifies efforts to deliver more democratic dividends to the good people of the state.

Gidado said that governor  is confident that with the new appointments, the administration will be better positioned to consolidate on its achievements and build a legacy of good governance, inclusivity, and sustainable development.

The appointments which cut across the 20 LGAs of the state, has Dauda Garba Bundot (Dass), Saleh Moh’d Kafin-Galadima (Ganjuwa), Hussaini Adamu Garkuwa (Toro), Hon Haruna Tilde  (Toro), and Abdullahi Adamu Shanu-Group (Zaki) as Principal Special Assistants on Political/ Community Relations, Hon Abubakar Ahmed (Misau) bags the position of Principal Special Assistant on Pension Matters.

Sixty other persons who bag the appointments of Senior Special Assistants (SSA) on political and community relations included Yusuf Mohammed Bako (Alkaleri), Idris Musa Kunkar (Alkaleri), Hon. Markus Makama (Bogoro), Sabo Bako Sade (Darazo), Hon. Aminu Abdullahi Madaki (Dass) and Hon. Mainagge (Gamawa).

Others are Buba Yarima Gamawa  (Gamawa), Hon. Abubakar Sadiq Ibrahim (Giade), Adamu Haruna Waziri (Jama’are), Hon. Babayo Sanusi Madara (KATAGUM), Musa T. Lumo (T/ Balewa), Baba Musa Bauchi (Bauchi), Mohammed Sabo Joji (Dambam), Bello Mahmood Yayaji (Darazo), Abdullahi Mohammed Maigari (Itas – Gadau) Garba Musa Bara (Kirfi), (Ningi) Mohd Shuaibu Baima (Warji), and Yahuza Abdulkadir (Zaki).

The Senior Special Assistants (SSA) on Labour Matters has Comr. Bala Mahmud Ibrahim (Alkaleri) Usman M. Ibrahim (Alkaleri) Maijama’a A Adamu S/Lobel – (Bauchi), Abdulhamid Ahmed Afafata (Dambam) Dauda Adamu Yaro ( Giade) Adamu Hanafari (Jama’are), Buhari Barau (Ningi) Badamasi Umar Beli (Shira) and Ahmadu Ibrahim Bello (Warji).

According to the appointments, the sixty-three personal assistants included Yahuza Ibrahim Dimis (Alkaleri), Abdullahi Kaimu Lumana (Alkaleri), Barr. Babangida Adamu Bapiya (Alkaleri), Ibrahim Mohammed Kwanti (Alkaleri) Bashir Yahuza Soro (Ganjuwa), Jibrin Buba (Ganjuwa), as well as Aminu Dodo Magarya, Sulaiman Yakubu, Kabiru Abubakar Barnawa, Garba Mohammed Garbu, and Abdulkarim Barnawa, all from Itas/Gadau LGA

“All appointments take immediate effect”, Special Adviser Mukhtar Gidado said.
