Adamawa State governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, has donated N65 million to support the treatment of patients battling life-threatening diseases in two teaching hospitals in the state to mark his 59 birth day celebrations

The governor announced the intervention during visits to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital, Yola, and Adamawa State University Teaching Hospital as part of activities marking his 59th birthday.

Fintiri donated N20 million to Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital and N30 million to Adamawa State University Teaching Hospital, while a business associate contributed an additional N15 million towards the initiative.

The governor said the donations were part of his administration’s commitment to improving access to healthcare and ensuring that financial difficulties do not prevent patients from receiving essential medical treatment.
