Gov Inuwa Gives 200 Riyals To Each Of Gombe’s 1,007 Pilgrims

Governor of Gombe State, Inuwa Yahaya has donated the sum of 200 Riyals, equivalent of N40, 000, to each of the 1, 007 pilgrims of the state in Saudi Arabia.

 

Head of media of the Gombe State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Hauwa Mohammed disclosed this yesterday in a press release issued to newsmen. She said the governor made the donation on Sallah day to the state pilgrims in Saudi Arabia as their Sallah gifts.

 

“His Excellency the Executive Governor of Gombe State Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) has donated the sum of 200 Saudi Riyals to each of the state pilgrims who performed the 2022 Hajj exercise as their Sallah gift.

“The executive secretary of the State Pilgrims Welfare Alh Sa’adu Hassan Adamu called on the state pilgrims to reciprocate the gesture by offering special prayers on this special day of Eid Adhan for the state and the country at large,” the statement reads in parts.”
