Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang has received the report of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board for the 2024 Hajj operation.
Speaking at the Government House, Little Rayfield in Jos yesterday, the governor thanked the Amirul Hajj 2024, Yahaya Kwande and his team, promising to support the board always because of the benefits derivable from pilgrimage.
He said the assignment was given to the Amirul Hajj because of the belief that he would deliver.
Amb. Yahaya Kwande while responding praised the governor for his kindness, which he said indicated that he is a governor for all.
Executive secretary of the board, Alh. Daiyabu Dauda, also commended Governor Mutfwang for his support to ensure that the board carries out its functions.
