Governor Bala Mohammed’s Life Exemplifies Service, Unity, Vision – Aide

Special adviser on Media and Publicity to the Bauchi State Governor, Mukhtar Gidado, has extolled his principal, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, for his compassionate leadership, humanitarian disposition and unwavering commitment to unity, peace, and progress.

In a goodwill message to mark the governor’s 67th birthday anniversary yesterday, Gidado described Bala Mohammed as “a visionary leader and quintessential public servant whose life remains an inspiration to all.”

Reflecting on the governor’s remarkable journey, Gidado said Bala Mohammed’s trajectory epitomised hard work, resilience, patriotism, and an enduring passion for public service. From his humble beginnings as a journalist and Level 8 Federal Civil Servant, he rose through dedication and excellence to become a Federal Director before voluntarily retiring to serve the nation in higher political capacities.

According to Gidado, Bala Mohammed’s foray into politics was marked by distinction and integrity, “As a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he stood tall as a voice of courage and reason, sponsoring landmark motions and bills that strengthened democracy and good governance.

“Notably, his famous motion on the Doctrine of Necessity remains a watershed in Nigeria’s democratic history,” he stated.

Gidado further noted that the Bala Mohammed tenure as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) showcased his visionary leadership, as he initiated transformative projects that redefined the physical and socio-economic landscape of Abuja, providing housing, modern infrastructure, and a renewed master plan for the nation’s capital.

“As the Executive Governor of Bauchi State, now serving his second term, Senator Bala Mohammed has continued to demonstrate exceptional commitment to people-centered governance,” Gidado said.

He highlighted the administration’s achievements in urban renewal, road infrastructure, housing, education, healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and civil service reforms, noting that Bauchi State has become “a model of inclusive growth and sustainable development in the North-East subregion.”

Gidado prayed that Almighty Allah continues to bless Governor Bala Mohammed with good health, wisdom, and strength to keep serving humanity and the nation with distinction.
