Governor Buni Passionate About Peace And Progress Of Yobe, Nigeria – Gubana

The Yobe State deputy governor, Hon Idi Barde Gubana (Wazirin Fune) said governor Mai Mala Buni remained committed to formulating projects and ideas that will promote peace, unity and development of Yobe as a state and Nigeria as a whole.

Gubana was speaking when he hosted top government officials, clerics, politicians, and businessmen among others on behalf of governor Mai Mala Buni to a launch to mark the end of Ramadan fast at the government house Damaturu.

The deputy governor said Buni has since inception believed that peace and unity are key to sustainable development hence the idea of injecting innovative policies in piloting the affairs of the state especially on security and infrastructural development for better progress.

He said being a man full of humility and kindness, the governor believed in prioritizing the needs of the people above any interest adding that this among others inform his administration’s decision of awarding and spreading projects to nooks and crannies of the state with equity and justice.
Gubana used the forum and called on the people to always consider the needs of the people as a priority.

“May I use this forum to express my gratitude to Almighty Allah for sparing our lives to witness yet another Eid-el-Fitr peacefully and in good health.

“While thanking God for his bounties, we must also thank His Excellency Hon Mai Mala Buni for good and exemplary leadership. His Excellency believed in peace and progress of our dear state Yobe and Nigeria as a whole.

“Governor Buni CON, Chiroman Gujba is a man of peace and progress that requires the support of every one of us in the quest for making Yobe and indeed Nigeria a better place to live.
“If you are a civil servant, you must play your utmost best, if you are a parent you must guide and mentor your child well because a good leader needs the support of his people to excel.

“In Yobe among other states in the northeast, we’ve seen a lot to the extent that you need not to be reminded that we must work towards a lasting peace and as such I want to emphasize that parents and guidance must watch their wards at all time,” Gubana stated.

Also, the chief Imam Yobe mosque and Islamic Center Ustas Hudu Mohammad Yusuf, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving Muslim Umma another opportunity to observe the sallah period peacefully calling on people to sustain the virtues of Ramadan at all times.
