In recognition of World Humanitarian Day, the D-8 Health and Social Protection Programme (D-8 HSP) has called for continued efforts to enhance health and livelihood in the country.
The organisation made the call in a statement in commemoration of the World Humanitarian Day, with the theme: “Act for Humanity.”c
It, however, commended the ongoing efforts of the government to improve the health and livelihoods of Nigerians and address the pressing humanitarian challenges in the country. The theme for this year underscores the importance of collaborative and sustained actions to uplift millions of Nigerians.
The D-8 HSP’s global director, Dr. Ado Muhammad, said “We are encouraged by the Nigerian government’s commitment to these important initiatives.
