Partnering with the Day of Salvation with Pastor Chris programme, the organisation extended its reach to underserved communities, offering not only food but also financial grants to empower families.
The director, Precious Jefferson, told LEADERSHIP Weekend that The Missions Week is one of Give The Nations’ key projects.

“Our aim is to set aside an entire week to distribute food items across the nations. Distributions have already started in Kenya and Pakistan, and Lagos is benefiting through the Day of Salvation programme, starting today, September 20. Our vision is to reach various nations and partner not only with local governments but with global bodies to offer much-needed support,” Jefferson said.

She expressed the organization’s commitment, adding, “The Missions Week kick started on Monday across other nations around the world. But we partnered with the Day of Salvation for Thursday and Friday to accomplish our mission of reaching over 25,000 people with food relief distribution in Lagos. We distributed items like rice, garri, groundnut oil, and even chickens across these communities.”

Jefferson also highlighted the project’s additional initiatives, stating, “It’s not just about food relief. We also offered grants for young people and businesswomen, along with scholarships for students who have been shortlisted through the Day of Salvation programme”.
