The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has called on the police to assist the service in the fight against fake vehicle plate numbers and particulars.
Chairman of KADIRS, Dr. Zaid Abubakar, implored the police to also help in the enforcement drive and combat saboteurs of revenue collection in the state.
The head, corporate communications, Zakari Jamilu Muhammad, disclosed this in a statement during a visit by the management team to the commissioner of police, Kaduna State, Y. A. Ayoku.
He said the familiarisation visit was to congratulate the new police commissioner on his redeployment to Kaduna State and intimate him on the existing cordial relationship between the service and the command.
The police commissioner commended the cooperation and understanding between the two organisations and promised to sustain it.
