Big Brother Naija Season 4 winner, Mercy Eke, has opened up about her preference for wealth over popularity, stating that she is willing to give up her fame for the right price.
In a recent interview with Odira Ndubuaku, the reality star and businesswoman made it clear that being famous is not her top priority. She explained that fame without a solid bank account is irrelevant to her.
“I would trade my fame for 2 billion dollars,” Mercy said during the interview. “What are people doing with fame? Give me the money and delete me from every social media platform. I would give up my influence and everything for that kind of money.”
She further explained that with such a huge amount of money, she could afford a private life on an island and ensure a comfortable future for herself and her family. Mercy added that she only enjoys being in the spotlight occasionally and wouldn’t mind keeping a low profile if the financial offer was good enough.
The reality star, who has remained one of the most successful housemates since winning the show in 2019, emphasised that her focus is on “rewards” rather than just being a known face.
