The International Association of World Peace Advocates IAWPA has nominated DPO, CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh, Psc, LLB, LLM, PhD in view, Divisional Police Officer in Kwale, Delta State Nigeria, for the position of Eminent Peace Ambassador. He received his nomination letter from the International Association after a visit by officials of the association led by Comr. Isaac
IAWPA a World Class Organization with United Nations ECOSOC, Special Consultative Status granted since 2019, has gave the endorsement to the respected police officer at his office on the 22nd of May, 2023.
His endorsement letter is for the nomination of appointment and Award of Eminent Peace Ambassador to commemorate the forthcoming celebration of “United Nations International Day of African Child” which will take place on the 14th of June, 2023 in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State capital.
A statement by the International Spokesman of the association Amb Emmanuel Nkweke said the Divisional Police Officer, DPO CSP Edwin Igoche Okoh has carried out a lot of Humanitarian interventions in the society. Some of his interventions have aided youths sentenced to illegal jail terms in one of the most sensitive correctional facilities in the country like Kirikiri Prison to be reunited back to their Families.
Speaking online with newsmen in the State, the respected police personnel who goes by the nickname “No Tree Can Make A Forest”, thanked the association for the nomination and also singled out Amb. Christian Isaac who nominated him for praise.
He said he will continue to impact on the people as part of his humanitarian efforts.
