National leader of the All People’s Party (APP), Ikenga Ugochinyere, has said irrespective of what plays out, they will match the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) force for force in the 2027 elections.
Ugochinyere made the disclosure yesterday during the inauguration of the Ideato ward and local government executives of the party in Akokwa, Ideato North LGA.
He stated that he will return to the House of Representatives even if the election turns out not to be free and fair.
The lawmaker representing Ideato federal constituency charged the newly inaugurated APP executives to go into all the nooks and crannies and win supporters.
He assured his supporters that they were on ground and working hard to maintain the trust of the people.
According to him, the APP is now the major opposition party in the state, as it currently has two members in the House of Representatives.
