Dikko, who is a member of the FIFA Stakeholders’ Committee, was recently appointed the chairman of NSC.

The NSC has been revived following the scrapping of the Ministry of Sports Development by the federal government.

Infantino believed Dikko’s experience would be vital in his new task.

He said, “I am convinced that your knowledge and experience, but also your passion and personal qualities, will have a significant impact in the accomplishment of your new tasks,” he wrote in his congratulatory message.
