Infinix Nigeria on Sunday rolled out a series of customer-focused incentives at its flagship outlet in Jabi Lake Mall, Abuja, as Afrobeats superstar Davido made a special appearance to engage shoppers and fans.

The in-store activation, which drew a steady stream of visitors, offered buyers price cuts on selected smartphone models, cashback deals on premium devices and a raffle draw featuring household and electronic items. The presence of the music icon added excitement to the shopping experience, boosting turnout and sales at the Abuja location.

Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Victor Ojetunde, Exclusive Manager of Infinix Nigeria, said the initiative was designed to appreciate customers during the high-demand festive season while strengthening the brand’s collaboration with its global ambassador.

According to him, the company deliberately aligned the activation with its busiest sales period to maximise impact. He explained that shoppers who visited the store during the event qualified for immediate incentives, including ₦5,000 discounts on selected models and cashback offers on the Infinix 50 Series and 60 High devices.

Ojetunde added that a raffle draw was introduced to further enhance customer engagement, with prizes spanning electronics and home appliances. He noted that the celebrity appearance had already translated into increased customer traffic and improved sales performance at the store.

Also commenting, Olusegun Adebayo, founder and chief executive Officer of Harmony Group, which operates the Infinix flagship store at Jabi Lake Mall, said the activation was aimed at strengthening customer relationships rather than generating publicity alone.

Adebayo described the collaboration with Infinix as a positive journey, adding that hosting Davido was meant to create a memorable experience for both regular and VIP customers. He said the focus was on allowing shoppers to interact with the artiste in a relaxed atmosphere while exploring Infinix products.

He also underscored the importance of after-sales services, warranty coverage and customer support as added value for buyers at the flagship outlet. In addition, he disclosed that Infinix unveiled new smartphone models alongside a full cashback promotion during the event.

Adebayo noted that the Abuja outlet holds strategic significance for the brand, being Infinix’s first flagship store in Nigeria and across West Africa.

The event featured Davido’s brief meet-and-greet session with customers, complemented by gift presentations and promotional offers that capped the day’s activities.
