Fulham delivered an impressive performance against Tottenham Hotspur, securing a 2-1 victory in a thrilling Premier League clash at Craven Cottage.

Nigerian international Alex Iwobi played a pivotal role in the triumph, scoring Fulham’s second goal just before halftime.

The match kicked off with both teams eager to establish dominance, but it was Fulham who struck first. Just 7 minutes in, Harry Wilson found the back of the net, giving the home side an early lead. The atmosphere in the stadium grew electric as Fulham pressed forward, capitalizing on Tottenham’s defensive lapses.

Iwobi doubled the advantage in the 34th minute, showcasing his skill and composure. After a well-worked team move, Wilson provided a precise assist, allowing Iwobi to slot the ball home effortlessly, making it 2-0 before halftime.

Tottenham, determined to fight back, made several tactical adjustments during the break. Their efforts paid off in the second half as Richarlison pulled one back in the 66th minute, converting a chance created by a clever assist from Arnaut Danjuma. The goal ignited a late surge from Spurs, who pressed for an equalizer.

Despite Tottenham’s efforts, Fulham’s defense held firm, with Issa Diop and Calvin Bassey putting in strong performances to thwart the visitors. The match concluded with Fulham celebrating a well-deserved 2-1 victory, lifting them further up the Premier League table.
