The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has commenced the process for candidates seeking to change their institutions or courses following the release of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results.

The Board also announced that printing of original UTME result slips will begin on May 18, 2026.

JAMB disclosed this in a statement posted on its official X handle and signed by its Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin.

According to the Board, candidates wishing to make changes to their institution or programme of choice are expected to do so through any of its accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres nationwide.

It advised applicants to ensure they carry out the process only at approved centres in order to avoid errors or fraudulent activities.

The Board said the exercise is now active and accessible to candidates who may wish to review their earlier choices based on their UTME performance or admission preferences.

It also confirmed that printing of the original 2026 UTME result slips will commence on Monday, May 18, 2026.

The result slip, which contains candidates’ passport photographs and security features, is required for admission screening and clearance into tertiary institutions.

“Candidates wishing to change their institution or programme of choice may now proceed to do so by visiting any of the Board’s approved CBT centres,” the statement read.

“Furthermore, the printing of the original 2026 UTME result slip will commence on Monday, 18th May, 2026,” it added.
