Governor Namadi announced a donation of N10 million from the state government and a personal donation of N2 million. The State Deputy Governor donated N2 million, while the 27 Local Government Areas collectively donated N13 million.

Other notable donations included those from members of the State Executive Council, the Head of Service, Special Advisers and Assistants to the Governor, heads of security agencies, and the Correspondents’ Chapel, which donated N100,000.
