Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, the state head of the Civil Service, declared the bid open, emphasising that this project aims to significantly enhance the working environment for civil servants.

Represented by Alhaji Muhammad Yahaya Jabo, the permanent secretary for establishment and service matters, Dagaceri stated, “This renovation aligns with the commitment of Governor Malam Umar Namadi’s administration to create a conducive working environment for all state workers.”
He noted that the state government had previously awarded the contract for the renovation of Blocks A and B, which is now in the completion stage.

The secretariat’s ongoing renovation is part of Governor Namadi’s 12-point agenda and is already yielding positive results,” the head of service added.

Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri highlighted several initiatives that Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has implemented since taking office, all aimed at improving the welfare of civil servants. These initiatives include the implementation of a new national minimum wage of N70,000, timely payment of gratuities and pensions, and a commitment to ensure that salaries are disbursed on or before the 25th of each month. Furthermore, the government has established palliative shops and N3 billion agricultural loans to support its dedicated workforce.
