Jim Iyke has spoken candidly about the circumstances that contributed to the collapse of his marriage.

Speaking during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, the Nollywood actor revealed that he became completely consumed by fatherhood during a difficult period in his life.

According to Jim Iyke, although he devoted himself to being a good father, the emotional changes he experienced at the time negatively affected his relationship with his wife.

The actor admitted that he gradually “lost his spark”, adding that his former partner struggled with the transformation she witnessed in him.

Reflecting on the experience, he explained that he became an obsessive and fully committed stay-at-home father, pouring all his energy into raising his son while unintentionally neglecting his marriage.
