Jonathan, Others Storm Zaria As Zazzau Emir Confers Sardauna Title On Ex-VP Sambo

The Emir of Zazzau, Amb. Nuhu Ahmed Bamalli, has turbaned the former Vice President Namadi Sambo as the Sardaunan Zazzau.

Sambo, who served as Kaduna State governor and later Vice President of Nigeria, was turbines with the traditional title in the Emir’s Palace in the ancient city of Zaria, Kaduna State, on Saturday.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan, whom Sambo served as Vice President from 2010 to 2015, attended the historic event.

Kaduna State governor, Uba Sani, Speaker of House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and former governors, were among dignitaries who attended the turbaning of Arc. Sambo as Sardaunan Zazzau.

The event attracted politicians, businessmen and political loyalists of the former Vice President Sambo, among others.
