The initiative which is part of PrimeTech’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, followed an earlier intervention where the company renovated classrooms and distributed literacy packs and insecticide-treated nets to promote health and learning among pupils.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, the head of Infrastructure at PrimeTech, Engr. Honesty Onyeyela, emphasised the company’s commitment to education.

“The last time we visited as PrimeTech, we undertook some renovations as part of our CSR, and we promised to return with additional support.

“Today, we fulfil that promise by delivering 50 sets of desks and chairs for students and three sets for teachers,” Onyeyela said.

He urged the pupils to make good use of the furniture, stating, “At PrimeTech, we believe education is key to improving lives and securing a brighter future.

“These chairs will enhance your studies, and we encourage you to take care of them so that years from now, we can look back and see this as a worthy investment.

“PrimeTech, with over a decade of experience in Nigeria, continues to demonstrate its dedication to sustainable community development and educational support.”

The Head Teacher of LEA Primary School, Mr. Jonathan Auta, expressed appreciation for PrimeTech’s intervention.

“Once again, we thank PrimeTech for their generosity. We are overwhelmed by your kindness and do not know how to thank you enough. Your support has rescued us from the challenges we faced before,” Auta said.

He said that the donation underscores PrimeTech’s belief that a conducive learning environment is critical to quality education, that the new furniture will reduce overcrowding and improve classroom engagement for both pupils and teachers.
