Jumia Nigeria has launched its December Holiday Sale, offering discounts and promotional deals to shoppers nationwide.

According to the firm, as part of the campaign, the e-commerce platform has introduced a sub-series titled “Celebrate Naija / Naija is Game,” scheduled to run from December 15 to January 18. The initiative is designed around Nigerian cultural themes and aims to connect the festive shopping period with local experiences.

Speaking on the campaign, the Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Temidayo Ojo, said the initiative aligns with the company’s focus on consumer value and affordability.

“The December Holiday Sale is our way of helping Nigerians celebrate the season without compromise. Today’s shoppers are value-driven; they want quality, convenience, and affordability. This campaign brings all three together with festive deals that address real household needs,” Ojo said.

He added that the momentum from Black Friday sales is being sustained through extended discounts across the festive period.

On the creative direction of the campaign, the chief marketing officer, Jumia Nigeria, Lere Awokoya, said the 2025 holiday sale is built around everyday experiences relevant to Nigerian consumers.

“This year’s campaign is built around the joy of giving and daily value. ‘Celebrate Naija’ brings that spirit to life through culturally relevant themes that resonate across regions and lifestyles,” Awokoya said.

Jumia said shoppers can access deals through its online platform, supported by its logistics and pick-up network across the country. The company noted that its fulfilment infrastructure enables customers in secondary cities and peri-urban areas to benefit from the same prices as those in major cities.
