Binani’s resignation, effective from July 19, 2025 was contained in a letter she tendered to the Mbamoi Ward party chairman of APC in Yola South local government area of the state.

“I write to formally notify you of my decision to resign my membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party effective immediately as from today.

“I thank the party so immensely for all the opportunity it provided me to serve our Ward, Local Government, Adamawa Central (Senatorial) Constituency and indeed, Adamawa State as a whole, as the party’s Senator 2019-2023, flag bearer in the 2023 governorship elections,” the letter read.

The former APC chieftain added that she parted ways with the party due to what she described as betrayals and anti-party activities.
