Operatives of the Niger State Police Command have arrested six suspected kidnappers allegedly responsible for a series of abductions in Kubwa and Bwari areas of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as well as parts of Niger State.
The Commissioner of Police, Adamu Abdullahi Elleman, disclosed this during a news conference on Friday, stating that the suspects were arrested at Kpakungu, a suburb of Minna, the Niger State capital.
Elleman said the suspects confessed during interrogation to kidnapping residents in Bwari, Kubwa and parts of Niger State.
He added that investigations are ongoing and that further details will be released in due course.
