Justify Your Promotion, NSCDC Tells Upgraded Officers

No fewer than 5,010 officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps who benefitted from the recent promotion / upgrade approved by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) have been told to brace up to higher responsibilities and thus, justify their upliftment.

A statement by the Corps director, public relations, DCC Olusola Odumosu, yesterday said the promotion list comprised personnel from the rank of inspector of corps II to deputy commandant of corps (DCC), including officers upgraded/converted with effect from 01/01/2020 and 01/01/2021 respectively.

 

The commandant –general, Dr. Abubakar Audi, said the promotion of officers and men of the corps was part of his administration’s drive to encourage hard work, promote the culture of merit and award excellence.
