Some youths in Kaduna State have acquired technical skills in auto-mechanics, mechatronics and spray painting after completing a vocational training programme at PAN Learning Centre.
The training was designed to equip participants with practical skills to improve their employment prospects and address technical manpower gaps in Nigeria’s automotive industry.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony held in Kaduna, the Acting Director-General of PAN Learning Centre, Mrs Shepuya Icha, reaffirmed the centre’s commitment to practical skills development and workforce capacity building.
She said industry-focused training was essential for producing competent technicians who could contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s automotive sector and the wider economy.
The trainees graduated under the 2026 cohort of the Technical Skills Development Project (TSDP), sponsored by the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with PAN Learning Centre.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of awards to outstanding trainees in recognition of their performance, dedication and commitment throughout the training.
