In another development, spokesman of the state governor, Sanusi Dawakin Tofa has said that Governor Abba Yusuf has inaugurated five additional female judges into the State High Court, fulfilling part of his promises of social inclusion and women empowerment.

In a statement, Tofa said, out of the nine judges sworn-in, five are females. They include Justice Fatima Adamu, Justice Hauwa Lawan, Justice Farida Rabi’u Danbappa, Justice Halima Aliyu Nasir, and Justice Aisha Mahmoud.
