In a related development, the Kano Traders Association has urged Governor Abba Yusuf to comply with the Federal High Court order restraining the Kano State Government from repealing the Kano Emirate Council Law 2019.

The association, in a statement by its leader, Usman Auwal Nagode, emphasized the importance of respecting the rule of law and urged all arms of government to work together in harmony to ensure peace, stability, and progress in the state.

The traders commended the judiciary and security agencies for upholding the rule of law and ensuring that peace returns to the state.
