Kebbi Governor Gets Lans Africa TV Award

Kebbi State governor, Dr Nasir Idris has been awarded the Best Performing Governor of the Year 2025 by the Lans Africa Television.

The management of the TV presented the award to the governor at a ceremony held over the weekend at Water Crest Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State.

In a statement issued by the governor’s spokesman, Ahmed Idris, he said the award was in recognition of the governor’s exceptional performance in reforming the agriculture sector, strengthening infrastructure and improving security in the state.

Receiving the award on behalf of the governor Idris, the special adviser on Public Enlightenment, Ibrahim Abubakar Jambale, said it showed the good work of his principal for the people of state.

He said, “I have the honour on behalf of the governor of Kebbi State, Dr Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), to accept this award recognising him as the Best Governor in Agriculture, Health, Infrastructure, Empowerment and Security.”
