Following the wide speculations of eviction rumours of members of the tractors association from their park in the state capital, Birnin Kebbi, the Kebbi State government has refuted the report of their eviction
It, however, directed the members of the association to continue operating their normal businesses in their union premises without fear of any eviction.
Addressing them at Central Market in Birnin Kebbi, the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hayatudeen Bawa Jega, confirmed that there was no notice of such an eviction in his ministry.
He alleged that some unscrupulous politicians were using social media platforms to cause hatred between them and the government.
He called on members of the tractors in the state to disregard such rumours that are trying to create misunderstanding between the government and its good people.
Speaking on behalf of the association, Chairman of the Tractors Association of the state, Alhaji Faruq Umar, commended the state government for its quick intervention.
