Kebbi Govt Sacks 2 Officials For Insubordination

Kebbi State government has suspended two officials of the state ministry of Basic and Secondary education for Insubordination and disrespect to a constituted authority.

This was contained in a circular from the office of the state acting head of service,  Sufiyanu Garba Bena and made available to reporters yesterday in Birnin Kebbi metropolis.

According to the circular, the two suspended officers; Hassan Abubakar Ngaski, component lead 1.1 and Abubakar Sule, a project coordinator under the  Adolescent Girls Learning and Empowerment

( AGILE) have since been served with letters of their suspension immediately.

The circular further indicated that the affected staff offences of insubordination and negligence of duty is punishable under public service rules number 030301 (H) and (O) which they are liable to.

It added that the officers therefore have been suspended for concealment of vital information to appropriate authority without permission concerning the new construction on AGILE program which constituted insubordination and disrespect to constituted authority.
