The Kebbi State government, through the Ministry of Livestock Development and Fisheries, has received 273,000 doses of animal vaccines from the Federal Government to curb the spread of Trans-border Animal Diseases (TADs).
The consignments were presented by the Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development under the auspices of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRESS).
Receiving the vaccines on behalf of the state government, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Livestock Development and Fisheries, Ramatu Usman Dabai, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for including Kebbi State among the primary beneficiaries of the intervention.
She noted that the support is a significant milestone in the state’s ongoing efforts to safeguard animals’ health and ensure food security.
