Manchester City midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne, is set to link up with Scott McTominay in Serie A after agreeing to a two-year deal with champions Napoli FC.
The Belgium international has now given the green light to a move to Italy and is set to jet out for a medical with Napoli, according to Fabrizio Romano.
De Bruyne will sign a two-year deal with an option, following his departure from Manchester City.
The 34-year-old lined up as a starter in both of Belgium’s June World Cup qualifiers, namely the 1-1 draw with North Macedonia and the 4-3 thriller over Wales on Monday night, which included an 88th-minute winner from the prospective Napoli midfielder.
Napoli are also on the verge of formally completing a transfer for 20-year-old Empoli defender Luca Marianucci.
