Kimberly Van Der Beek has shared an emotional tribute to her late husband, James Van Der Beek, three months after his death.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Kimberly reflected on the painful reality of losing the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ star, admitting that grief has become more real as time passes.

“To say I’m heartbroken is a severe understatement. Words just don’t capture what grief is. The comforts of shock have worn off. The reality is settling in… and I miss him. We all miss him,” she wrote.

James Van Der Beek reportedly died after battling stage 3 colorectal cancer, which he publicly disclosed in late 2024.

Despite the pain, Kimberly said the tragedy has strengthened her spiritual connection and deepened her faith.

“I feel him. I know him more deeply. My conscious connection to God has deepened. The veils of the universe have thinned,” she added.

She also expressed gratitude to fans and supporters for the overwhelming love shown to their family following the actor’s death. Reports state that a GoFundMe organised for their children raised over $1 million.
