A leading food seasoning brand, Knorr, has commenced the 2026 edition of its annual Share The Good Ramadan initiative, bringing Iftar meals and community support to Muslim faithful across parts of Nigeria.

The initiative began with outreach visits to communities in Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos States, where the brand shared meals with fasting Muslims at mosques and community centres as they broke their fast.

Organised by Unilever Plc, the programme is designed to promote acts of kindness and strengthen communal bonds during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the organisers, the initiative has grown over the years, with scheduled Iftar visits taking place in several cities across the country. During the visits, meals are distributed to worshippers and families to support them during the daily fast-breaking period.

This year, the campaign also features a Share The Good Bus, which has already made its first stops in the three states. The bus will continue its outreach to additional locations, including Abuja, Ondo State, Kano State, Kaduna State, Kwara State, and Adamawa State, in the coming weeks.

In addition to the physical visits, the brand is engaging audiences online by sharing recipes tailored for fasting Muslims. The recipes are designed to help families prepare balanced meals that sustain energy throughout the fasting period.

Foods Demand Creation Lead at Unilever Plc, Damilola Dania, said the initiative aims to promote generosity and strengthen community connections during the holy month.

She described Ramadan as a period of devotion marked by prayer, fasting and reflection, noting that the Share The Good campaign is intended to support families while encouraging acts of kindness across communities.

The company added that the programme is part of its broader effort to make wholesome meals more accessible while promoting a culture of sharing and compassion during Ramadan.
