Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the immediate recruitment of additional medical personnel to boost healthcare delivery across the state.

The permanent secretary of the State Civil Service Commission, Hajia Kifayat Jimoh, made this known during an interview with LEADERSHIP Weekend in Ilorin yesterday.
Jimoh said the commission had announced vacancies in the state’s health sector and urged those with requisite qualifications to apply for the jobs.

She said the commission would be strict in the selection process to ensure that only qualified applicants are given appointments.
The permanent secretary hailed Governor AbdulRazaq for approving the recruitment exercise.

She acknowledged the commitment of the governor to the complete transformation of the state’s healthcare sector which she said had led to significant improvement in health infrastructure and patronage.
