Super Eagles striker, Umar Sadiq was in action as Real Sociedad were held to a goalless draw by Rayo Vallecano in Saturday’s La Liga game.

The Nigerian international, who has made 19 appearances, has netted two goals and bagged one assist in the ongoing season for Real Sociedad.
Sadiq had the chance of putting the host ahead in the early minute but he was quickly ruled offside by the center referee.

Despite Vallecano controlling possession, the visitor failed to make it count in terms of scoring goals.
Sadiq was later substituted in the 62nd minute for Oyarzabal after an impressive display.
All efforts for both teams to break the deadlock proved abortive after 90 minutes.
