The managing director, chief executive officer of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority (LAMATA), Engineer Abimbola Akinajo, disclosed this to journalists on Wednesday. She said the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will be their first passenger on the inaugural ride.

She said the fully electrified rail system will run 12 trips for a start, saying safety and security around the train stations will be taken seriously.
