Speaking during a press briefing, Jimbo expressed shock that no culprits have been arrested or punitive measures taken despite the recent unwarranted killings in Plateau State.
He appealed to the president to throw out all selfish leaders working against the Nigerian project and redundant security personnels sabotaging the security of lives and properties.

The lawmaker, who represents Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika federal constituency of Akwa Ibom State said the government must take decisive action against individuals undermining the country’s progress and security.
Jimbo promised Nigerians a robust implementation of the 2024 budget recently signed into law and assured citizens that the National Assembly would exercise strong oversight on the executive.

The legislator called on Nigerians to hold political leaders accountable in 2024 to ensure the country’s desired future is realized.

He expressed optimism that importation of petroleum products would end in 2024 with Dangote Refinery and other domestic refineries coming on stream.
