The lawmaker, who is the chairman, House Committee on Media and Public Affairs, said few policy dialogue and engagement had been held with key stakeholders from the agric, security and economic sectors to know what they are doing and see where legislative actions could be taken to support them to expedite what they are doing.

The spokesman of the 10th Assembly of House of Representatives who said they will continue to hold the president, his cabinet members to account in order to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda spoke in Oye Ekiti during a Easter thanksgiving praise/worship service with the theme: “Salt of The Earth” organised by his constituency office in conjunction with Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Ikole/Oye LGAs.

In his sermon, Rev. Tunde Afe of the Household of Faith urged the people to be salt and light to their society saying Hon. Rotimi had been helping people since his school days.

Speaking on the economic situation, the parliamentarian said, “On my arrival, I embarked on ward tour, I saw what was happening and I salute the perseverance of our people. We know things are not too rosy economically and we know the hardship the people are going through and the prices of goods and services seems to be increasing and I have told them that, if God wants to use somebody to transform the society, it will seem difficult at the beginning but we know God is going to use Asiwaju Tinubu to transform Nigeria for better .’’
