Policyholders of Leadway Assurance Company Limited who suffered insured risks between 2016 and 2024 received a cumulative claim of about N500 billion.
The claims, paid over the nine years, were meant to put the claimants in the financial positions they were before disaster struck. The beneficiaries had individual or corporate policies with the insurers within the years under review.
Leadway has built its reputation as Nigeria’s most consistent claims-paying insurer, disbursing nearly N500 billion in claims between 2016 and 2024, including N117 billion in 2024 alone.
