‎Afrobeats Star, David Adeleke, known as Davido, was said to have lost his cool and vented his anger in court while being cross-examined in a custody battle with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu, over their daughter, Imade Adeleke.
‎
‎A lawyer, Maruf Mohammed, disclosed this on Thursday via X, alleging that the singer was in court in Yaba over a custody battle with Sophia.
‎
‎According to him, during cross-examination, the singer lost his patience and created chaos in the court.
‎
‎Maruf posted: “Davido in High Court, Yaba now! Come and see drama in court. The lawyer made 001 lose his patience during cross-examination!
‎
‎*Be you never so high, the law is above you!!”
‎
‎Commenting on it, one tweep noted that cross-examination isn’t for the weak, as anyone who isn’t used to fury appearances can be stressed.
‎
‎“It is very easy to do, even a new lawyer will make him lose his patience.
‎Anyone who is not used to court appearances can be stressed during cross-examination.
‎
‎No matter how big or popular the person is!
‎No matter how composed the person is!
‎
‎Cross-examination is meant to shake tables, even if the tables are strong to begin with.
‎
‎Every lawyer is looking for that position to break the table”.
‎
‎Responding to him, Maruf agreed that the lawyer had hit Davido and made him look worthless, which angered the singer. Luckily for him, his father was there to calm him.
‎
‎“Yes, oo! The lawyer hit him and made him look worthless. He got angry. Na him Papa de pat him
