LG Electronics joined the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to commemorate the Korean National Day in Abuja, highlighting its commitment to innovation, cultural exchange, and the long-standing friendship between Korea and Nigeria.

The event, held recently at the Abuja Continental Hotel, brought together diplomats, government officials, business leaders, and cultural performers to celebrate 45 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

As one of Korea’s leading global brands, LG Electronics used the occasion to showcase its latest premium products designed to enhance modern living in Nigeria. The company exhibited cutting-edge technologies, including its OLED and NanoCell TVs, SP9 Soundbar, XL7S XBOOM speaker, MoodUP Refrigerator, WashTower, and Air Tower Air Conditioner. Each innovation reflected LG’s focus on smart living, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

Speaking at the event, Mr Hyoung Sub Ji, managing director of LG Electronics Nigeria, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to Nigeria’s growth and development. “Today, we celebrate not just Korea’s heritage, but the boundless possibilities that arise when nations work together. Nigeria is a land of opportunity, and LG Electronics is committed to empowering communities, inspiring innovation, and creating a brighter tomorrow,” he said.

Mr Ji noted that LG Electronics has continued to strengthen its relationship with Nigeria through consistent investment, product innovation, and social initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life for consumers.
