Liverpool have reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of Bradley Barcola. The deal is now in the final stages after a breakthrough in negotiations overnight, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The agreement: Package worth €140m (£120m). Fixed fee of £100m (€117m) plus €22m in add-ons. Barcola has already agreed personal terms on a long-term contract.
Liverpool identified the 23-year-old French international as their top target back in May. PSG initially demanded €170m, but after weeks of direct talks between directors, the French champions lowered their asking price. Barcola pushed for the move after informing PSG he would not extend his contract beyond 2028.
TThe two-time Champions League winner made 49 appearances last season with 13 goals and 7 assists. He arrives at Anfield in red-hot form with 11 goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances this campaign.
