The MAAUN Group of Universities has congratulated Muhammad Sanusi Magaji on his appointment as Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Kabo (FUSTK), Kano State.
The appointment was approved by Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Friday, the Founder of MAAUN Group of Universities, Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, described Prof. Magaji’s appointment as well deserved, citing his vast academic experience and strong administrative pedigree.
Gwarzo noted that Prof. Magaji previously served as the pioneer Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Kabo, before its upgrade to a full-fledged university by the Federal Government. He also served as Acting President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Kano.
“On behalf of the MAAUN Group of Universities, I congratulate Prof. Muhammad Sanusi Magaji on his appointment as the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Science and Technology, Kabo,” Gwarzo said.
He described the new Vice-Chancellor as a distinguished scholar with a strong commitment to advancing education, research and innovation, expressing confidence that his leadership would strengthen academic excellence and institutional development at FUSTK.
Gwarzo further expressed optimism that Prof. Magaji’s wealth of experience across various academic and administrative roles would translate into meaningful transformation for the university.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the new Vice-Chancellor wisdom, strength and guidance to steer the institution to greater heights.
