The Indomitable Lionesses’ journey has been unconventional, having initially failed to qualify before benefiting from CAF’s expansion to 16 teams.
They have capitalised on that reprieve with a disciplined, counter-attacking approach, reaching their fourth final after three previous runner-up finishes.
