Many Injured As Container Truck Collides With 18-seater Bus On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

A container truck and an 18-seater commercial bus collided in a serious accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Sunday, leaving several passengers severely injured and causing panic among motorists.

In a video circulating online, passersby were seen rushing to the scene to assist victims, helping remove injured passengers while awaiting emergency responders.

The crash reportedly occurred shortly after the Berger Bridge axis of the road, outbound Lagos.

The number of casualties has not been confirmed, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Traffic congestion was reported along the affected section of the expressway, as vehicles slowed to navigate past the scene.
